The situation at hand
As a leader in Australia’s Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising sector, oOh!media needed to rapidly enhance its audience measurement capabilities. To capitalise on more granular and comprehensive data, they required a new application to act as a crucial integration point.
This serverless application would allow internal teams to score marketing campaigns using enhanced analytics. Mantel was selected for their expertise in accelerated development, taking oOh!media’s initial concepts and rapidly building the complete technical solution.
The challenge
oOh!media was faced with several significant constraints that made traditional development approaches unfeasible:

The solution
To meet this challenge, Mantel deployed a small, specialist team of three consultants who leveraged a cutting-edge, GenAI-accelerated development methodology.
- Agentic Coding Approach: The team used Mantel’s AI-powered development framework, utilising Cline & AWS Bedrock (Claude Sonnet), to accelerate the entire development lifecycle.
- AI Guided by Experts: Project-specific rules were established for the AI agents, using oOh!media’s internal libraries and code patterns as a reference. This ensured all AI-generated code was consistent and secure by design.
- Full-Stack Acceleration: This AI-assisted approach was used to build the complete solution, including a front-end for the dedicated secure UI, back-end API, and the entire serverless app infrastructure deployed to AWS, including a CI/CD pipeline.
