Australians are embracing AI with gusto, hoovering up the productivity benefits despite widespread concerns about reliability, job displacement, and control.
A Mantel Group-Australian Financial Review survey of 6,000 Australians shows more than half of respondents have used AI in some way.
Drill down into what they are using it for and about 70% are leveraging Generative AI, putting the adoption rate of this nascent technology at a faster clip than smartphones.
It presents a golden opportunity for businesses who understand AI and prioritise it. But it also poses challenges related to governance and risk management.
