Visualising the future of PropTech with REA
REA chose Mantel Group as a trusted partner to explore how spatial computing can revolutionise the real estate industry, from a buying, planning and financing perspective. With content supplied by Immersiv and other vendors, we worked with REA to develop and build a ready-to-go Apple Vision Pro experience, successfully showcasing spatial computing’s potential applications for the future of real estate.

REA wanted to explore how virtual reality and spatial computing can enhance its value proposition to both buyers and customers alike, with a particular focus on how best to use different content types when presenting properties.
Spatial computing is still in relative infancy, but it has clearly demonstrated the potential to reshape how people experience property. REA understands this, having offered 3D virtual tours, as well as being a launch day app for Google Daydream in 2016. The focus of this initiative is not necessarily to produce apps for immediate deployment, but rather to explore possibilities and prepare for an eventual paradigm shift in the real estate experience.
Mantel Group’s specialist team of iOS developers worked closely with REA’s engineering, design and product teams over four months to produce the final prototype, allowing for live, immersive VR demonstrations of how spatial computing opens up a world of possibilities.
