Wesfarmers OneDigital, a division of Australia’s leading retail groups, wanted to launch its OnePass membership program to market rapidly.
Sowing the
seeds of success
The project focused on four key deliverables:
Digital
Customer research and UX design informed the creation of a seamless, integrated experience across all Wesfarmers brands. The team engineered OnePass APIs and developed web and mobile channels to provide multiple touchpoints for users.
Data + AI/ML
A validated, mature data management framework and team were established to support OnePass. Data products were developed and seamlessly integrated across OnePass’ partnering brands to power internal reporting and analytics.
Cloud
Migration efforts focused on moving AWS accounts, VPCs, and applications from the existing Wesfarmers infrastructure to the new OnePass environment. This ensured a scalable and secure foundation for the program.
Cyber security
An identity and entitlement solution was built on OAuth and OpenID Connect standards to protect sensitive user data. Coarse-grained authorisation and resource entitlement checks were implemented for robust security.
Reaping the rewards
With Mantel Group’s support, OneDigital successfully launched a brand new product to market while navigating the intricacies of a multifaceted organisation.
