Our Women and Gender Minority Traineeship runs in August each year and provides an opportunity for awesome talent to kickstart their career in tech through a structured program that expands upon their existing knowledge, through hands-on experience and further development, to support a guided transition into the tech industry.

Program good to knows

  • Program is full time (with 1 day per week dedicated to learning)
  • Structured onboarding, an exciting internal project and the opportunity for client shadowing, to give you the best start to your new career
  • Participation in a tailored learning pathway to ensure you have all the skills you need to become an awesome consultant
  • Mentor provided for the entire duration of your internal project, to ensure you feel well supported in your new role
  • Flexible learning and development pathways for each individual to ensure you’re learning skills that YOU want to develop!

Who is eligible for this Program?

  • Recently graduated from a bootcamp or certification OR
  • Are looking to return to your tech career after an extended career break 
  • You have extensive work experience, from any industry, where you have developed solid professional attributes and skills 
  • You have less than 12 months current experience in a tech role
  • Open to women and gender minorities only

We don’t like process for the sake of it so we’ve kept our traineeship recruitment experience to a simple 3 steps.

Phone Screen

If your application is shortlisted our Emerging Talent Team will contact you to chat through your application.

Make sure you have put your research skills into practice and be prepared to talk about what you know about Mantel Group (hint, we are very passionate about our Principles!)

Interview

The interview will be a technical and cultural interview rolled into one. Ahead of the session, you’ll have the opportunity to complete a data challenge which we’ll chat to you about during the interview.

Tip:

We really want to understand more about how you approach a problem and attempt to solve it, so be prepared to chat to us about how you went about the challenge. We also want to get to know you better, so have a think about why you’re interested in a career in tech and what areas you are particularly passionate about!
