Mantel Group today announced it is a certified Family Inclusive Workplace with an embedded flexible work culture that supports people to align work, career and family aspirations and commitments.
“We are committed to a culture where families – parents, children, carers of all kinds – are included and can thrive,” Caroline Henshaw, Mantel Group, Chief People Officer says.
“We appreciate the importance of trust and how it creates a sense of ownership, belonging, and purpose – all vital to the success of the business. Individuals’ circumstances differ and our people value the ability to tailor reward programs or work locations to match their specific needs,” Henshaw says.
Ben Bloomfield, Mantel Group Partner and father of three, says, “Being part of an organisation that trusts me to make the right decisions for myself and my individual circumstances, whether it’s the location I work from or intuitively knowing that I don’t have to apologise for doing school pick-ups, helps me be a better partner and a better parent.”
“We are thrilled to certify Mantel Group as a Family Inclusive Workplace,” Emma Walsh, Founder and CEO of Parents At Work and Family Friendly Workplaces, says. “They are clearly committed to supporting their people and realise the business and cultural benefits of doing so. As a tech consultancy they are leading the way with their family-friendly policies and practices, a standout with a very strong focus on equality and diversity. Congratulations Mantel Group on behalf of all Australian families.”
Mantel Group has no policies, just five principles which it trusts every team member – that’s roughly 900 people – to be guided by: Make Good Choices, In It Together, Communicate Directly, Love What You Do & Be Awesome At It, and Make Things Better.
Mantel Group has no traditional hierarchies and managers. This environment where everyone’s opinion is equal is one of the single greatest enablers of diversity and inclusion, gender equity and work-life wellbeing.
